This isn't just any baby massage course - it's an IAIM baby massage and I can work with you and your baby from birth to pre-crawling!

I will teach you a soothing, rhythmic massage for your baby that will help you to learn your baby's communication cues as well as relax them. The IAIM baby massage course is endorsed by the Royal College of Midwives, Embody and the Complimentary Therapists’ Association.

You will learn a tried and tested sequence of rhythmic massage strokes that will empower you as a parent. Baby massage gives you the means to become an expert on your own child and will, therefore, be able to respond according to your baby's needs.

Suitable for babies from birth to pre-crawling, the course runs for five weeks. During this time, you will:

  • learn gentle massage strokes that will calm and relax your baby

  • help your baby to feel securely attached

  • help your baby to feel more loved, valued and respected

  • increase your baby's levels of relaxation and promote longer sleep

  • help your baby to develop body awareness and co-ordination

  • provide relief from wind, colic, constipation and teething discomfort

You will learn a lifelong parenting skill and gain a deeper understanding of your baby's behavior, crying and body language.

Organic coconut oil is provided along with full course handouts.

Babies can remain clothed for the massage session and dolls can be provided to practice on if baby is asleep. Classes are baby-led. You are encouraged to attend to your baby if they are crying, need feeding, or just need comforting. If babies are asleep, dolls are provided so that you can still take part.
